POLICIES

General
To register for a room or suite, guests must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
1) Rates are per room, per night based on double occupancy.
2) Minimum Stay Requirements: 2 nights weekends (i.e. if your stay includes Friday or Saturday night); 2 nights during Fall foliage season (refer to Spring/Summer/Fall High Season in the Rate Chart); 3 nights President's Day or Columbus Day weekends; four nights during the Christmas/New Year's period (refer to Winter High Season in the Rate Chart).
3) Payment in full is expected at check-in. Accepted methods of payment are: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diner's Club, Discover, cash, money orders, and travelers' checks. Personal or business checks are not accepted.
4) THIS IS A NON-SMOKING LODGE. Smoking is ONLY permitted in designated outdoor areas, regardless of the weather. Those choosing to disregard our policy will be asked to leave without refund, and a $50 cleaning fee will be charged to the credit or charge card on file, as well as an extra night's charges, if necessary, in order to air the room to make it acceptable for incoming guests.
5) Stowe Meadows allow groups to rent out the Lodge for gatherings and weddings.

Cancellation
Should you have to change or cancel your reservation for any reason, we require at least 15 days' advance notice (30 days' notice for high season). With the required amount of notice, we will refund your deposit, less a 5% processing fee. For reservations cancelled within 15 days (or 30 days for high season) of your reserved arrival date, you will be charged for the full amount of the reserved stay, unless we are able to re-book your room. If we are able to re-book your room, we will refund the re-booked portion, less the 5% processing fee. Because of our small size, cancellations affect us significantly, and we do not over-book, as large hotels do. We must enforce our cancellation policy. If you are worried about having to cancel for any reason, we recommend you purchase travel insurance through a third party for your own financial protection.

Early Departure
Early Departure for any reason is considered a cancellation and therefore the same penalty of no refund applies.

Deposit Upon making a reservation, a 50% deposit (100% in the case of a one-night stay), including tax, will be charged to your credit or charge card to guarantee your reservation. Reservations are not held without a deposit.

Check-In
Check-in time is 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. If you will be arriving later than 9:00 PM, please call ahead so we may explain our late check-in procedure.

Check-Out Check-out time on your day of departure is 12:00 pm. Unauthorized late check-out (between 1PM and 5PM) will incur a penalty in the amount of 50 percent of the daily room rate as a "late check-out" fee.

Pets We usually can accommodate guest pets. Please contact Owners prior.

Your Stowe Meadows Signature Pet Amenities:
- Stowe Meadows provides special pet place mats with food and water bowls.
- Stowe Meadows offers complimentary pet treats, pet toys, and specialized bedding. For a fee, Stowe Meadows provides dog walking services and special meals.
- Stowe Meadows also provide listings of dog-walking routes, veterinarian information, pet shop and grooming locations, pet attractions, pet-sitters, and pet-friendly restaurants in the Stowe area.

Note: Rooms for guests staying with pets undergo special cleaning procedures including the use of specially-filtered vacuums to remove pet allergens in preparation for subsequent guests.

If your pet is accepted, our pet friendly policy is:
- Stowe Meadows requires an extra $20 per night charge and/or a deposit for pets staying with us.
- One well-behaved pet per room is permitted.
- Pets must be declared/presented at check-in.
- Pet must be fully trained and appropriately restrained by guest.
- Pet must comply with local legislation requirements (pet owners should bring their pets most recent vaccination records)
- If required, pet must be kept on a leash when in the Lodge or on our property unless it is in the guest's room
- Pet must not be left unattended. If our guest requires a pet-sitter or pet supplies during their stay, they should contact Stowe Meadows with advance notice.
- Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet on Stowe Meadows property.
- Any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced.
- Guests are responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from their pet.
- Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stowe Meadows, its owners and its operator from all liability and damage suffered as a result of the guest's pet.
- Stowe Meadows reserves the right to charge guest's account commensurate to the cost of such damage
